This was the first of the clubs official matches for the 2017/18 calender held at Walters Lake. As on every opening match it was the Keith Price memorial. Sadly the only thing memorial about the match was the lack of fish caught. Never the less top weight went to Matt Collins with 30lb 8oz, next up came Jerry (the king) Wiggett with 26lb 3oz with Larry Cornock in third with 19lb 8oz, with Andy (the apprentice) Freeman taking forth with 16lb 4oz.
